On the 13th of December the day after Auburn’s win over Miss State by the score of 24-10, Auburn announced that Gus was no longer of the Auburn Tigers. During the week a search was on but Auburn stilled received an invite to the Vrbo Citrus Bowel with Coach Steel leading the team as interim head coach. The search for a coach has been on for a week, and today, it was announced that Boise State’s head coach Bryan Harsin was named the new Head Coach at Auburn University.
